Member Awards

There are many awards that FBLA members can achieve throughout their time in the organization, here is a listing of those.

State Awards

Communication between chapters is extremely important. The winners and winners’ chapters are recognized at the State Leadership Conference. Points are obtained through a list of submissions according to Kentucky FBLA.

National Awards

Business Achievement Awards

The Business Achievement Awards (BAA) are an aggressive, self-directed, results-based business and leadership program designed to compliment academics while accelerating a student's leadership skills. The awards focus on the words surrounding the FBLA Crest: Service, Education, and Progress.

The individual recognition is a four-tier program (Future, Business, Leader, and America) aligned with the FBLA-PBL Goals, NBEA Standards, and Career Clusters. The individual program has a March 1 deadline for the first three levels and an April 25 deadline for the America award.

In addition to receiving their America level pin at the National Leadership Conference, all recipients of this award who attend the NLC will receive America ribbons and certificates of recognition.

More information about the individual sections of the awards can be found at FBLA-PBL website.

Community Servivce Awards

The CSA program is a three-tier recognition award (community - 50hrs, Service - 200hrs, Achievement - 500hrs) that recognizes members with extraordinary commitment to community service.

The chapter adviser must register the student for the Community Service Awards. An email will be sent to the adviser containing the student’s login credentials. When a student logs hours equal to the requirements for a CSA Award, the adviser will login to the adviser area of the CSA, review the student’s hours and will find a link to submit the award. CSA Community and Service Awards must be submitted by March 1. The CSA Achievement Award must be submitted no later than April 25. Students may continue logging hours after the submission deadline, but the award levels reached may not be submitted until August 1 of the next school year once submission closes for the current school year.
